Michelle Hammond combines imagination with inspiration from adventures around the world to produce her custom mosaics.
Her passion for oil and acrylic painting expanded to mosaic art when she sought a way to bring her artwork outdoors, given the year-round climate enjoyed in California. Using a combination of porcelain, marble, glass, ceramic, and traditional tesserae tile, her creations harmonize colors and shapes into timeless mosaics with a modern twist. She converted an old workshop outside her home in California into a working studio and founded Mirasol Designs, through which she enjoys bringing her many creations to life.
Michelle approaches each new mosaic project with the belief that art should inspire and delight. For enjoyment indoors or outside, her custom mosaics will add a touch of originality, style, and beauty to your home.
